The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our team. You'll work with both residential and business clients, helping solve a wide range of technology challenges across different environments.

You will work directly with our senior technician, gaining hands-on experience in computer repair, business IT support, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, and managed IT solutions.

No two days are the same. One day you may be troubleshooting a business network, the next repairing a laptop, deploying new equipment, or helping a client improve their cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

•   Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, email, and networking issues

•   Perform computer repairs including screen replacements, battery replacements, component upgrades, and operating system installations.

•   Provide onsite and remote technical support to residential and business clients.

•   Assist with Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, backup solutions, and educate clients on technology best practices.

•   Document work performed, recommendations made, and customer communications.

•   Test and verify all completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

 

What We're Looking For

•   Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent training in Information Technology.

•   CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Apple, or similar certifications are an asset.

•   Minimum 3 years of experience supporting computer hardware, software, and basic networking.

•   Experience with Windows and macOS environments.

•   Familiarity with iOS and Android devices.

•   Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems independently.

•   Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

•   Comfortable adapting to different customer environments and personalities.

•   Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

•   Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow professionally.

 

Requirements

• In accordance with Cayman Islands immigration and labor requirements, preference will be given to suitably qualified Caymanians and Cayman Status Holders.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (gas and vehicle allowance provided).

• Police Clearance Certificate issued within the last six months.

• Ability to lift and transport computer equipment when required.

• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends.

• Competitive salary based on experience - $28,000 - $38,000 kyd annually
